The Gambrel Cottage is built with gambrel-style trusses, which create an attractive appearance with its steep roofline. It also gives the interior of the cottage plenty of space for storage. We’ve added a front porch to this model, which gives it a home-like feel, as well as an interior loft area for extra storage.
The added porch that comes with this structure gives it a home-like feel and is a great area to add extra decor or relax and enjoy the view. With an exterior like this, this building could be a great place to create a guest quarters, or even as a home office area.
ProStruct Tongue in Groove Floor
The ProStruct Tongue in Groove Floor from LP that comes standard in this cabin is a durable product that will be perfect for most applications. The standard thickness is ⅝”, but it can be upgraded to a more heavy-duty floor if you plan to store extra heavy products.
Interior Loft Area
The main highlight of the Gambel Cottage interior is the loft area. This, in combination with the gambrel trusses, give this structure tons of extra space for storage. You can even choose to add another loft area at the other end of the cottage, or extend the 4’ loft above the porch.
